COPYRIGHT POLICY

MangelsDesigns places special attention on copyrights and adheres to all laws against illegal use of copyrighted material on the Internet and other media. As we respect the intellectual property rights of others, including copyright, in order to comply with the U.S. Copyright Act, MangelsDesigns has adopted this Copyright Policy which applies to the whole Web site.

All products displayed at the mangelsdesigns.com website are copyright protected and registered with the United States Copyright Office. By installing, using, printing and creating derivative works wih our images, you agree that the designs are the property and copyright of MangelsDesigns, and you are allowed of using them in the strict terms of use for which you have hired your membership.

MangelsDesigns will not reproduce any images or materials marked as copyrighted without a signed statement of permission and acceptance of responsibility. In all cases our freelance designers must guarantee us that the designs they provide to our site for the exclusive use of the subscribed Members are of their own creation, assuring us that all images, clipart, fonts, brushes, etc., used in their designs are from their own private collections and are royalty free. The designer, by providing MangelsDesigns with materials for reproduction in this website, agrees to hold MangelsDesigns harmless for any penalties or damages that are assessed against us.

Your Copyright Notification needs to be in writing and include the following elements to ensure complete review of your request and compliance with the U.S. Copyright Act:

1) Physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed and the verifiable proof that she/he has the ownership of the intellectual rights claimed.

2) Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or if multiple copyrighted works at a single online site are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works at that site;

3) Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity and that is to be removed or access to which is to be disabled, and information reasonably sufficient to permit MangelsDesigns to locate the material;

4) Information reasonably sufficient to permit MangelsDesigns to contact you, such as your full name, address, telephone number, and email address;

5) A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;

6) A statement that the information in the notification is accurate and that the complaining party is authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

NOTE: If the claim is received from a foreign country, relevant copyright legislation of the country from which the copyright material is claimed may require additional information. MangelsDesigns reserves the right to request such further information if national legislation requires.

Upon receiving a Copyright Notification, the MangelsDesigns Legal Staff will review the notification to make sure it complies with the requirements listed above and will review the design(s) that is claimed to infringe copyright. If the Legal Department determines that the Notification is valid, it will disable access to the page where the claimed images are or delete them, and will notify the claimer.
